After hits such as, "how to build a trading system... in Ruby" and "how to build a parser... in Ruby", I am sure there are people out there wondering... "Why is no one talking about building a database... in Ruby?". Surely that must be doable!
Well, fear not dear friend. It is and we are going to talk about it. Time permitting (and I happen to have some), we are even going to build a functional one... all in Ruby.
