Imagine a distributed system where many participants could edit the same state simultaneously without ever hitting a race condition or having to resolve a conflict. A system that perfectly synchronizes even when participants go offline for hours, without losing updates or having to pick versions. While I intend to explore some truly fantastical futuristic ideas, most of it is doable today and I intend not only to talk about it, but to demonstrate how it works.
